What i like to do is try new things. Today, I am making a soup. Last evening i bought a butternut squash for over 6$! I’m keeping the seeds to see if i can grow my own. You know, for the accessible community garden and art space.
I popped it in the oven, after putting a few cuts in its outer cover, at 200 degrees for a couple of hours while i napped. Oven roasted: skin on, Then after it cools remove skin, scoop out seeds and cube. Dump into a pot. Add pepper and almond milk. Hope it works. I’ve a wand blender that i might use after heated to make it soup.
I’m more a sad face painter than a happy cook.
